Lower Salford Township

Founded in 1741, Lower Salford Township encompasses the historic villages of Harleysville, Lederach, Mainland and Vernfield. Roughly 16,000 residents live within its 14.5-square-mile borders.Twelve township parks and more than 1,200 acres of preserved open space are threaded with multi-use trails that link neighborhoods to the regional network.
